Shade Tree is a fabricator of custom shade fabric panels: all our panels are made to order, to the customer’s specifications. Panel size, shape, shade percentage, grommet spacing, etc. are all based on the customer’s needs.
Each panel is edged with a fabric binding tape. The binding features 100% polypropylene construction to prevent edge raveling and to increase the life of your shade cloth panels. The binding also provides a foundation for installation of grommets.
We install rustproof #2 brass grommets per your spacing requirements. These grommets have a 5/16″ ID opening and are the best way to hang your shade panels. Use of nails or staples directly through the shade cloth is not recommended due to the damage potentially caused, resulting in shorter useable life of your panels.
Shade Tree offers nine woven shade cloth densities ranging from a 30% shade cloth to a 100% shade cloth. We also offer a ground cover fabric for landscaping and similar applications.
Shade Tree shade cloth and shade fabrics have been the preferred choice of greenhouse and nursery owners for over twenty years because our 100% polypropylene construction ensures years of trouble-free service.
We also have 100% polypropylene rope available with similar characteristics that matches our shade cloth in life – this rope is available in 300′ spools.
All of our woven shade cloth is woven here in Cornelia, Georgia – this is our shade ranging from 30% through 95% – and includes a 7-year warranty agains UV degradation. Our 100% fabric and ground cover are imported, simply because it is not woven in the US. These two fabrics are not covered by the 7-year warranty.
